BUSY DAY

Yesterday was a busy day of ball games. Ashlee had her second fast-pitch game which they won again. They are getting better at pitching but Ashlee hasn't hit a ball yet. Not that she's not trying, but the pitcher doesn't give her anything to hit. At least she gets on base, right? Jared had a game that they won and I had two games. The first one we only had 4 players show up. It's hard to get ladies to games because they're the ones taking their kids to games so were unfortunately had to forfeit that game. The teams are divided up by ward boundaries. Now don't ask me how that happens but a city league using ward boundaries to make the team is just crazy but they've done this for 50 years and I don't see them changing it. The reason they started it was so you couldn't stack a team. I guess it makes sense but it's a little strange. Anyway, the second game made up for our first. We had rounded up 10 players and just kicked the crap out of the other team. I had to pitch because our pitcher was playing in Ogden on a co-ed team. Boy my legs are tired this morning.
Jared is home today putting together our deck. We will finally be able to use our sliding door. We haven't used it in the 2 years we've lived there. I'll have pictures of that later today so keep checking in.
