This week has been the BRVLSL (Bear River Valley Ladies Softball League) championship tournaments. We were the defending champions this year so we had to protect our title. We did good going into the tourney and were in the winners bracket going into the last night. We played the winner of the 7:00 game on Thursday. We had beat both team so it really didn't matter who we played. Or so I thought.
We lost the first game 18-9. They had to beat us twice and they were going into their third game that night. We lost the second game 6-5. So we ended up second place. But the difference in winning was either a sweatshirt or a t-shirt. I guess we're not missing that much. It was a fun tournament though. My mom got her little pinkie dislocated and just popped it back into place by herself; I got smacked in the neck with a line drive to pitch; and just lots of other fun stuff. I'm sad the season is over but there is always fall ball.
We all turned our ball shirts backwards so our sponsor's name would show. The pitching picture is not very flattering. I almost didn't put it on the blog, but I was hurting for pictures and thought I'd chance it. Just remember it's at an awkward angle. I hope anyway!!
