I have officially competed in a golf tournament. It was held yesterday at Skyway Golf and Country Club here in Tremonton. I was paired with Lisa, whom I have golfed with many times before on Ladies Night, and our four-some rounded out with two older ladies. One from Logan and one who was my mom's gym teacher. That should tell you how old she was.
The top picture is my friend Amy. She did really good. The others are Lisa, who was my golf partner, Alicia and Rachelle.
I was also taking pictures for work so I actually got paid to golf. WOW! Never thought I would be able to say that. So I don't have any pictures of me golfing (too bad) but it was fun. Since Kent's Market (one of the local grocery stores) sponsored it, we had groceries to pick up at each of the first 9 holes. For example, when you got to hole 1, you would grab a bottle of water, hole 2, a box of twinkies; hole 3, a bag of cereal provided by Malt-O-Meal. It was fun.
Now for the bad news: I shot a 130. I told myself that I would be happy if I got under 140, but I'm not real happy with the 130. I guess it's okay since it was my first tourney. I'll just have to do better next time.
LOOK FOR PICTURES OF ASHLEE'S BALL TOURNAMENT SOON. THEY PLAY TONIGHT FOR THE CHAMPIONSHIP!! THIS IS AFTER A 2 AND A HALF HOUR GAME ON TUESDAY FOR THE FINALS. SHOULD BE A GOOD GAME!
