My grandpa was nominated as the 2008 Riverside 4th of July parade grand marshal. He wore his cowboy hat with his old highway patrol badge on the front. He also had a pistol that he wore around (not loaded of course) to make sure that everyone knew he was the sheriff in town. He had a good time with it. I've got more pictures and video of it but this is what I had this morning. He got driven around in a new Pontiac Solstice. I told him he should buy one of those cars and he said, "Why, so you can borrow it?" Well, of course, right?!

PARADE GRAND MARSHAL
